JULY

(June 30) - July 2, 2006 - FESTIVAL - Brady: Heart of Texas July Jubilee. The events will kick off July 2nd with fireworks at the Brady Lake. There will be a carnival in town from June 30th - July 2nd at Richards Park. The annual parade on the square will be on July 1st, as well as the street dance. July 29-30, 2006 - PLAY OR MUSICAL -Uvalde: Sahawe Indian Dancer's Summer Ceremonials. The Sahawe Indian Dancers, members of Boy Scout Troop and Venture Crew 181 from Uvalde, present annually their Summer Ceremonials. The fast moving colorful dances of the Plains and Southwest Pueblo Indians are set against a backdrop of teepees to set the mood for the performance. The 90 minute performances feature 16 to 18 different dances that have thrilled audiences for almost 50 years. Time: 8pm. Cost: adults $4, children 12 and under $2.
