Fern Arable (Dakota
Fanning) lovingly raises a runt piglet she names
Wilbur. When he gets older, he is sold to Farmer
Zuckerman. There, Wilbur makes new friends,
notably a spider named Charlotte (voice of Julia
Roberts). When Charlotte learns that the
Zuckermans plan to turn Wilbur into pork chops,
she weaves an elaborate plan to save his bacon.
